Seeing, tasting and sensing

what you are working on,  especially when enhanced by state of the art laboratory equipment is a tremendous boost to innovation.  We base this approach on inhouse facilities such as:

Seeing with 3D light microscopy combined with Laser induced Breakdown Spectroyscopy (LIBS) on microscopic range

Tasting and smelling are performed, beyond LIBS, with portable and stationary X-ray fluoresence (XRS).  As a back up, eddy current measuring of electric conductivity opens a further window on positive material identification

Sensing is performed with various devices such as tactile roughness measurement (which in turn is supported by light microscopky riughness dtermination and various µm and sub-µm probes.

Many further specialised instruments for electricity (multimeters, oszilloscopes etc., hardness measurement are also available.

For highly sophisticated measurments we are connected to a network of university and reseach institute labs in our area and beyond.
